Actor and model

Uff / Nico’s acting career began in her childhood. From 2005 to 2013, she took acting classes with director and acting coach Magdalena Hadenburg at the Kreismusikschule Gifhorn. In addition to improv training, they also developed and wrote theater plays together. During her bachelor’s degree at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, she was active in Gunter Reus’ theater program for two years. This course resulted in two theater engagements at the Theater in der List: Scandal in Chioggia (2014) and Fabian (2015). After successfully completing her studies and moving to Berlin, Uff emigrated to Australia. There she began her drag career, which allowed her to live out her passion for performances and the stage. In front of the camera, she was mainly active as a drag model, but also appeared as an actress in the Australian student film Moonshine (2018), among others. During the beginning of the COVID pandemic, the drag queen lived in Germany, where she made appearances in drag in the Berlin Tatort (2021) and the LGBTQ series Wir sind Jetzt (2020). Uff then moved back to Australia and starred in an advertising campaign for the beauty brand Unlabelled (2021), modeled for Crown Casino and catwalk jobs at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival. In the same year, she had an engagement in the Christmas cabaret show Tinsel (Melbourne). In 2022, she moved back to Berlin, since then the versatile artist has been exploring various creative fields. A short film, shot on 16mm film, with photographer Julia Gaes was created for her project Wigs & Gloves. Uff was also engaged to moderate the exhibition opening of this work as part of the Triennial of Photography Hamburg. This was followed by performances and moderations at various events, e.g. as part of the CSD Berlin 2023 or the Special Olympics World Games 2023 and at Olivia Jones’ burlesque bar Bunny Burlesque.

In front of the camera, the experienced Berlin drag queen has not only shone as an actress, but also as a model, advertising face, reality TV contastant and singing competition participant. 2024 she’ll star in the ZDF movie Hoffnung and the short movies Signal Path and sombody is there.
